Invisalign Treatment Process
At BIDH dental hospital, the invisalign treatment process starts with a consutlation between you and your orthodontist. Digital panoramic and celpholmetric x-ray images are taken and a study model made for treatment diagnoses.
Step 1 : Digital Imaging and iTero Scanning
Upon you’re decision to start invisalign, your dentist creats a 3D digitalized image of your teeth using the iTero scanner. Using the scanner enables a better aligner fit than physical impressions.
The scan is sent off by ClinCheck software to invialign that provides an post reatment simulation. You can thus see your new smile before you start to determine if the treatment plan and invisalign is right for you.

Step 2 : invisalign ClinCheck
After scanning of your teeth, it scan is submit to ClinCheck at invisalign. ClinCheck is a software that gives a 3D visual map on how each aligner trays shifts teeth into position. ClinCheck uses algorithm to calculate the amount of force for each tooth movement.

Step 3 : Fabrication of clear aligners
Upon confirming your ClinCheck treatment plan. Your invisalign clear aligners are fabricated overseas. Invisalign are made of patented SmartTrack material with more than 8 years of research and development and over a decade of expertise in biomechanics and material science.

Step 4 : Placement of Attachments
When your invisalign trays are received at BIDH orthodontic center, your dentist arranges a visit to place on SmartForce attachments.

Step 5 : Wear Trays with Monthly Checks
Wear your clear aligners trays according to number. Each set of aligners is worn for one to two weeks. When you start wearing each new set of aligners, it is normal to feel a little extra pressure or discomfort for the first few days.

Step 6 : Retainers
On completion of wearing all your trays, your invisalign dentist takes a set of panoramioc and celphlometric x-rays and removes the attachments.
To keep teeth in positoin, retainers are made to maintain teeth positioning.
